Asia Society Museum will host the opening of the exhibition Lucid Dreams and Distant Visions: South Asian Art in the Diaspora on Friday, June 30, organized by Asia Society Museum with the support of the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center. This exhibition considers the work of 19 contemporary artists from the South Asian diaspora who explore notions of home and issues relating to migration, gender, race, and memory across mediums and aesthetics.

The exhibition is free and open to the public, no registration required, on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Keynote Panel: 6:30–8:00 pm

Featuring: Jaishri Abichandani, Swati Khurana, Jaret Vadera, Asha Ganpat, Allan deSouza, and Naeem Mohaiemen. Moderator: Anuradha Vikram
