Dear members,
This newsletter provides an update on upcoming projects that IBA is working on with members, as well as new and upcoming biennial openings. Please read on to find out more.
First Annual Publication
The month of January saw the inception of IBA’s first annual publication. A call was distributed for members who were interested in serving on the editorial board, through which the six member board was selected. Those serving on the board are as follows:
Sylvie Fortin, Leader – La Biennale de Montreal
Anne Barlow – Art in General
Basak Senova – D-0 Ark Underground Biennial
Berta Sichel – Bureau Phi
Lisa Howie – Bermuda Biennial
Nevenka Sivavec – Biennial of Graphic Arts Ljubljana
with Bige Orer, Honorary Member – Istanbul Biennial
The team will work together and follow a timeline to complete the publication. February will see the team participating in brainstorming meetings, collaborating on the design and approaching potential writers. A mid-way presentation will be given during the 3rd General Assembly in Milan this May 30 – June 2, 2016, so stay tuned.

2016 Membership and Dues
If you have not yet renewed your 2016 membership, please take the time and renew now to ensure continued membership benefits. To become a new member, please visit our Membership page to learn more, and email us with any questions you have.
Member Logo Reciprocity
A great advantage that comes with your IBA membership is the ability to connect with others. Institutional members have the added benefit of sharing their logo with us, creating a visual window into each member biennial. Beginning this spring, we will start to modify the Resources page of our website to show member logos rather than alphabetized text.
We also want to see our Institutional members showcase their proud membership on their own websites. Email us with your interest, and we’ll send you our logo and 3-line statement for placement on your website.
