Dear members,
Welcome to the February 2017 edition of the IBA newsletter, and thank you all for your continued support of the IBA.
This year is an important year for the IBA, as we hold several events including our 4th General Assembly in Yokohama, Japan this September 25 – 29. To be fully announced in the spring, the public program will feature interactive workshops as well as talks and conversations that will aim to create a dialogue between attendees and speakers. The members segment of the General Assembly will focus on current IBA issues and hold several key votes, including for positions of the Board.
A notable change in events this year is the postponement of the conference in Santiago, Chile. Originally scheduled for April, the conference has been postponed due to a considerable scheduling conflict. The IBA Office is working with the team in Chile to reschedule at a later date.
