Dear members,

Our 3rd General Assembly was a significant success, and we extend our many thanks to all who participated as speakers, panelists, moderators, participants and guests.

As we move forward to IBA’s next conference, the theme of cultural preservation persists. The IBA International Conference will take place in Shanghai, China this September 3 – 4, and it will examine biennials in transformation, looking at the challenge of hybrid biennials as a way to bridge the gap between today and tomorrow.

We invite you to join us in Shanghai this September 3 – 4 for the IBA International Conference, organized by the IBA Office, and hosted by Shanghai Project in collaboration with Power Station of Art (PSA).

IBA will hold an International Conference and 6th Board Meeting in Shanghai this September, hosted by Shanghai Project in collaboration with PSA (Power Station of Art).

Participation grants are available for 20 IBA members from developing countries. To apply, please submit an application to the IBA Office with all corresponding documents no later than July 8, 2016.

First Official Publication Editorial Board Meetings

The editorial board will meet via Skype on July 1 to finalize writers and topics.
